We arrived late (after 10 pm local time) and were able to check in with complete ease. It was chilly (1st weekend in October) and there's a heater (and air conditioner, though we didn't use it) and that was very nice to get the room toasty and comfy. TV is older and picture wasn't fantastic, but I'm not picky about technology. Had coffee maker and fridge  in room which was great. Best continental breakfast! The woman there will make you a fresh Belgium waffle and there were eggs, cereal, toast, muffins, yogurt, bagels, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, juice, milk, coffee, tea...so much and no extra charge! Location is very convenient to downtown Mackinaw City. No lake view, but that's how you can get such a bargain! There was a very nice looking indoor pool and hot tub, but we didn't use it. Would definitely recommend...lots of bang for your buck!

staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean. I would recommend this best western to my friends. We will be staying there next fall along with our friends. Glad that there was a quick breakfast available to us and the service and food was great.

The main selling point for this place was the complimentary HOT breakfast and indoor pool. Although the Jacuzzi was out of order, I did have a chance to go swimming (even though it was 45 outside). The pool was very warm and relaxing, even with the temperature outside. The amenities in the room were dated, but comfortable. Location to town wasn't anything  spectacular. In the summer, I'm sure walking would be fine, but it was just slightly too cold for our stay. My main complaint was the quality of the towels. I know it seems like an arbitrary aspect, but the towels were obviously old, some of which were worn through in spots. We ended up having to grab a couple towels from the pool house. Aside from this, it was very comfortable for the price, and I would definitely stay again.

It was clean but there were some outdated items like the hair dryer that looked like a vacuum cleaner, a iron board that was jumping off the wall in the bathroom and a toilet seat that was crooked on the toilet so that when you sat on it the lid attacked you. What was nice is that it was close to everything and a good price. Handy to have a laundry  on site and an indoor pool and fairly quiet.

We thought our stay was great. The place is really clean and the staff is really nice. The only downside was the spa was not working during our stay and would have a perfect end to a perfect day. we would stay again in the future.

The hotel room was very cheap but it did not detriment the quality of the breakfast included. The waffles were made to order, fruits-biscuit and sausage gravy, orange and apple juice available 24/7...I obviously put a lot of importance to the quality of what I am eating over the quality of the room, I am french :). Anyways, the room was clean, no "hotel"  smell. The only drawback was the matrice, a bit old and soft. Cheers, Adrien-

For the price paid, this was an adequate hotel with good value. If two and half were a ratings option, that is where I would put it. In room refrigerator, indoor pool with late hours and free breakfast are among the amenities. The hot tub (spa) was hot but the jets were not functional. The room's furnishing were dated but clean. Towels and furniture  were spartan. I was satisfied that I got what I paid for and what I needed.

The only problem I had with this hotel was that there was a moving sale in the parking lot of the hotel right in front of the lobby. This is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I'm not sure if this person worked at the hotel and thought that it would be a great location since it was Labor Day weekend but this is not what I want to see when I go on vacation  and spend money to stay at a place.

You truly can't beat this hotel. The price was amazing, the room was very comfortable & clean, the staff was courteous, the breakfast was very nice - including fresh waffles and biscuits & gravy. The location is just a couple minutes from the main drag of macinaw city. I would definitely stay here again!
