| when we checked in most everything was fine but the next day when we got back from a day of site seeing, we found there was still no toilet paper,the garbage was not dumped,the coffee and coffee cups were not replaced, the water glasses were not replaced,and the bed was not made properly. the the price we paid we expected a little more |

| The room was large, comfortable enough. smelled a little musty but the view and having a balcony looking at the water was great. |

| We could see Mackinac Island from our patio, as this hotel is right on Lake Huron. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent. Our room was well appointed and all rooms face the water. The only drawback, if there is one, is that the breakfast is served in another building and you have to walk up an incline to get to it. We would definitely stay here again. |

| Fast, courteous check in. Breakfast was plentiful and was continuously refilled right up to closing at specified time. Especially enjoyed balcony overlooking water. Pool quite busy, although we did not use it. Would stay again. |

| Everything fits the price!! Good experience in general. They serve the best breakfast ever for free!! The only negative thing that the lake side was dirty. |

| Can't complain about the hotel itself, room and service were great, However, if you want to stay on the beach, do NOT stay here. The grass, and sand are COVERED with goose droppings. You can hardly walk to the beach without stepping in some. Even the swingset was covered. The beach itself was mostly rocks, not ideal for children to play. Nice hotel, just not a beachside hotel. |

| The room was comfortable, nice view and balcony on second floor. Air conditioners leaked on our balcony from above rooms though. Dark outside at beach side at night...no lighting or lit paths etc. Bathroom tub and toilet area a bit small but loved that sink was in separate location. Overall room was good. |

| View of Island was nice. Sunrise pictures breathtaking. Beach was OK. Watch out for goose poop around beach. Overall hotel was nice. Breakfast room gets very crowded. |
