Recent Days Lakefront St Ignace Review: "The hotel, although deserted during the night due to the casino people, it was enjoyable from dusk to dawn ! Great view of Mackinaw and at night the Grand Hotel ! The bed was my personal favorite due to whatever brand of mattress they use .I usually toss and turn during the night, but don't ever remember any of that until morning and then that great  view of the island. The staff couldn't have been more helpful . I do wish they had some bacon and/or eggs. The breakfast was still really good with the sausage, sausage gravey english muffins and a slue of other things such as coffee, tea, milk cereal,hardboiled eggs, toast and jellies and much more on top of that ! GOD ! Now i'm hungry again ! All in All a top notch place to go for the atmosphere and price $$$$ ! Hope this helps you making your mind up r"
