Recent Lake View Hotel Review: "Loved it! Cant say enough nice things about this hotel and our entire stay on the island. Right across from the starline ferry doc- our bags were taken right to our room for us. Great pool and spa. Our room overlooked the pool. Hotel Restaurant was nothing special, for dinner or for the comp breakfast but that is the only negative thing to say. They  give discount cards for several shops etc in town. Be sure and have some fudge from the shop attached to the hotel. Rent a bike across the road. Be sure and take a carriage ride for a tour of the island and get off for the butterfly conservatory and also the fort. Lots of quaint shops on main street. Like going back in time 100 years except for the HD tv in our room of course!"
