| We stayed in room 426 and a roof fan (we believe) kept us from sleeping. It even rattled the fixtures in the room. It would turn on and off but had a disturbing hum almost constantly. If I were to stay in your hotel again I would insist on a room on a lesser floor and on the opposite side of the building. The TV could have been located on a different wall and would have been out of the way. We also found the location of the vanity disturbing and should have been included in the bathroom enclosure. |

| This Hotel is right off the Starline Ferry Boat Ramp!
We thought we were going to have to bike with all of our luggage... Perfect location. WE will stay there again if ever back at Mackinac :) |

| We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lake View Hotel. We liked our room - nice size with a large bathroom. It's conveniently located on the main street. It was quiet at night. We liked the complimentary morning breakfast they offered - it was light but enough to tide you over until lunch. The bar was fun with great drinks! Very friendly staff! |

| Overall a nice hotel in a good location and probably a good value considering the neighborhood. Our room was missing the curtains on the interior window (facing the pool) and the blind was not adequate to keep out light. We hung a bedspread over the window since we discovered the problem rather late at night and had no desire to move rooms. The portable AC unit was noisy so fortunately it was cool enough outside to open the window. I tend to give old hotels some slack so despite these problems I would stay again... preferably in a different room. |

| Very nice hotel, right downtown close to all the shops and restaurants, We had 2 rooms for the night, my daughters 21st birthday, she wanted to spend it on the island. The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was friendly and informative about things to do and see. I expected it to be much louder because of the location and the onsite rest. & bar, but it wasn't. We heard no doors banging or people talking all night, like you do at other hotels. I would stay again. |

| This hotel is a great place to stay, a great location from ferry and food was good. They have one of the best pizza's I have eaten in a long time. The only negative is there is no view of the lake since shops have been built blocking the view. This is not a knock on the hotel just a fact. This hotel is over 100 years old and the picture in the site must be quite old also. |

| Attention to customers who have service animals- stay at this hotel only if you LIKE to be accosted every time you exit and enter with your service animal. Despite registering with the front desk and presenting the paper work for his animal, my husband had to stop and contiunally re-explain his situation. The front desk clerk even tried to tell him that he did not have a service animal! As regular travelers, this was the worst hotel for accomodating my husband's needs. If this isn't an issue for you, the staff is otherwise polite and helpful. Rooms are quaint, spacious, and clean. |

| My family & I totally enjoyed our stay on Mackinaw Island. All of the hotel staff were nice & helpful. Our air conditioning was not working and they sent someone right up to fix it. I will choose to stay here again AND tell others to stay here too!! |
