| We stayed in the early spring. Glad to have a ceiling fan during the day and heater at night. The staff was very friendly. The town was just starting to open the tourist shops and the employees were nice to help us with any questions. Warning to other night owls, the town does shutdown shortly after the island and bars close their kitchens by 10. thers a store to get a few groceries in town or go to the next town over were the employees live.There was an issue with insects during the end of april. They didnt bite but came in swarms that hover near the coast. Don't plan on picnics but they can be walked thru if you go to the coast accross the street from the hotel. I love the fact that the hotel was walking distance to the ferry and the ferry shuttled us back after a long day at the island. Unfortunately The stone Arch on the island had a landslide the damaged the surrounding landscape, and partly filled in the Arch. Overall we loved our stay and the staff. The sight of the bridge nearby and the lighthouse were amazing. |

| The room we were assigned had not been cleaned from the previous occupant, so we asked for a new room and were given one with no hassle. The new room was very nice and close to the pool. |
